The mission of Wilburn-Solutions.com is to establish a foundation to support the sharing of IT based information:
First - Amoungst the IT community of Pittsburgh, PA
Second - Amoungst the IT community of the world
Being born and raised in Western PA has allowed me to obtain an excellent technology background. However, while working and studying here in Pittsburgh I am constantly discouraged by the sediment that this area is a sub-par IT community. I am hoping that through open collaboration of those having ties to the Pittsburgh IT communtiy, we can take a lead in promoting and creating a shared or "open source" development environment. To start this effort I have designed this site. I will be looking for individuals to offer their time and help to develop something individuals who are "the true scientists" can use to break the mediocre mold the computer industry has created for IT workers. In closing, I leave you with a quote that rings through my head as I type this message, from the classic baseball based movie Field of Dreams, "Build it and they will come."
